Hello, I am new to this list. I am searching for my HOLM and ROSENGREN ancestors. John HOLM corresponded with Hanna ROSENGREN while Hanna was living in Finland. Hanna came to the US to be John's bride. She immigrated with her sister Anna, who married a mister RENARD. All lived in Ministique, Schoolcraft Co., MI. Hanna was a cook in a logging camp. We think John was a minister. The family eventually removed to Tacoma, WA, where they are buried... Daughter of John and Hanna was Irene Ethel Theresa HOLM (b. 04/13/1894 in Ministique). Irene married Axel LUND. All the surnames can be found in Ministique, Schoolcraft Co., MI. I found several entries for ROSENGREN, HOLM, and LUND (see below)... but before I send away and pay $10.00 each for the records, can someone please tell me if there is any cheaper method of obtaining copies of the records? perhaps copies, instead of certified certificates? ... also... does anyone know if a marriage record would probably or probably Not contain parents names of the bride and groom? I would be very appreciative of any suggestions :-) as I live in Vancouver, WA...
