    3. The Saginaw News obit source is a great site. It has helped so many. I am so glad the people at the library have given us this site. The Saginaw County Clerks office has a site of marriage and death records online from 1995 forward. I found by doing a surname search on the mother or father of the deceased has helped find many relationships I didn't have before. I use this index to help find living people of my ancestors. I contact them and they are a wealth of information I didn't have before. The website link that you gave is a Saginaw News obit index. There are lots of people who have died in Saginaw County who never had an obit in the Saginaw News. In addition there are lots of obits that were printed in the Saginaw News, that have not been put into the index database. The genealogy librarians are working on the data entry project as their time allows. For a true record of deaths in Saginaw County one must contact the Saginaw County Courthouse.
