Carolyn, I wish I were close enough to help with this project, but I am two days away by car. I would like to see 1) PINEGROVE Cemetery on old Midland Rd. between Freeland and Midland. It is a Tittabawassee Twp. cemetery of medium size. Also, the 2) ST. MATTHEW LUTHERAN cemetery on Hospital Rd. next to the church--also in Tittabawassee Twp. This is a small cemetery that could be photographed in a day quite easily. I have family in both and have taken 35 mm photographs, but no digital photos. Another is the 3) ST. JOHN CEMETERY near Frankenmuth (I think it is on Dehmel Rd). It is not near any church. There are many old tombstones there, but it would be easy to photograph in a couple of outings. The only problem there is the lighting, since it is heavily wooded. It might visits at different times of day to get the proper lighting for all stones.
