    1. [MISAGINA] ? Crossroads ?
    2. Dear Shelly: I saw your comments about "The Crossroads" Did you know that Brockway Road used to be called Crossroads. In the 1877 plat book of Saginaw County the road we now know of as Brockway was called Crossroads. In the 1896 plat book of Saginaw County the road was then called Brockway. There is a cemetery on Brockway that was established at the time that the road was still called Crossroads. Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery was established in 1864 and is located on approximately 6 acres of Section 21 on Brockway Road near Hawthorne Drive. The cemetery is owned by Holy Cross Lutheran Church and the records are held by the church office. I this it was possible that this cemetery may have been called by the nickname of "The Crossroads Cemetery" Susan Warner Saginaw, Michigan > From: Saja423@aol.com > Date: Sun, 12 Jan 2003 16:51:00 EST > Subject: Re: [MISAGINA] Re: Forest lawn & Brady hill Cemeteries > To: MISAGINA-L@rootsweb.com > > Hello, > > As for Brady Hill.....I have not been able to locate my great great > grandfather Elias Wirsing. 1. [MISAGINA] Interest in all of us photographing Brady Cem. together?
    2. Carolyn Obertein
    3. I was wondering....would there be an interest of lets say....the end of March (weather permitting) Anyone that would like to help photograph Brady Hill meet early on a Saturday for breakfast and organize how we will photograph the cemetery and then head over to the cemetery to photograph it as a group. If you don't own a camera your help could still be used to clean grass etc. from headstones. If you live out of town and would like to come for the weekend there is a couple of good hotels in Bridgeport right accross from Cracker Barrel. It is about an 10 minute drive to the cemetery. If it works out we could make it a monthly or bi-monthly thing. This is just a poll to see what kind of interest there would be. Carolyn
