I seem to recall them having had a relation named "Deewain" in the Merrill area. An elderly family member, before he passed into the great beyond, shared the legend with our clan. I believe some of the other McCurlee clan members were named Lurl, Teddy (a politician of some sort), Burl (a lumberjack in northern Michigan), and possiblly an acquaintance nicknamed "Bubdos" who had some connection to the Coor's Brewing empire.
