Pat, You mention that your James McGregor Jr was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Have you contacted the Masons to ask if they have record of his having transferred membership to another Lodge or if they have record of his having died and where? Usually the family will request Masonic rites at the funeral. Also, my ex-husband went to school with and graduated with a Jim McGregor and they were in the first graduating class of Arthur Hill Technical High School c1958 or 59 which was separate from Arthur Hill High School and stood at the corner of Michigan, Mackinaw and Gratiot. I forget the name of the street that Jim McGregor lived on but it was near the intersection of Lee and S Harrison going towards Wheeler, maybe Division Street or thereabouts.
