Comment to Mary Richardson, About the land holding of Peter C. Andre; I have found sooo much real estate that he controlled that I stopped cataloging it. From Saginaw to Genesee County. He was extremely adept at his profession if we can assume that his holdings equate to success. Tim Stark Naples,FL

Ditto for James FRASER. He's connected to my mom's maternal side of the family through marriage. I stopped recording all of his land transactions as well. He acted as an agent, buying land primarily in Saginaw and Bay Counties and reselling it. I first ran into him when I read that he met up with my McCULLOCHs in Detroit. They had just arrived from Scotland, and he enticed them to Saginaw. Several generations later when my g-grandparents married, the McCullochs and Frasers became distantly related. Mary Richardson P.S. Interestingly, there is only one Saginaw Co. land transaction for Peter Andre in the online Bureau of Land Management system (2/10/1852, Tittabawassee Twp., section 7). I notice he bought a lot of land farther north, primarily in southern Bay County. Looks like he must have amassed his Saginaw land holdings by purchasing from other original owners.
