    1. [MISAGINA] Bohemian Hall
    2. I think this made the rounds a little while ago. The Bohemian Hall was on the SW corner of 12th and Wadsworth. It burned to the ground in the 1960s. I still haven't gotten to the library to look up the actual date. I know it was before 1965 as we moved from the neighborhood then. I watched it burn. It was only a block and a half from our house. We attended many weddings there. It was quite a spectacular fire. On the SE corner was a barber shop that was later turned into a drug store by Mr. Haithcote (not sure of the spelling). On the NE corner was a store. The name of it escapes me right now. We used to catch the bus on the corner there to go downtown. The old Vescio store is still there. It is another business now. You can see it from the 675 expressway. Our home on 12th street was torn down to build I675. One of my favorite places was Pietz (again not sure of the spelling) Meat market. They always gave us a piece of bologna when my folks bought meat there. I always saved the skin to give to our dog. It was 6th and Tuscola. There was a drug store across the street and a gas station on another corner. Sherry
