Just copy your family file to the a Zip disk or a CD and then, after you have installed FTM on your laptop, just copy the family file from the Zip disk or CD to the hard drive on the laptop. My laptop has a CD drive and I bought an attachable Zip drive that plugs into the computer. Good luck, Mary Sue Schnell
