Hello all, I'm looking for information (or where I could look for information) about my Grandfather, OTTO GEIGER. In the early 1900's he owned a boat called Vietta.(It was named after his first wife, Vita) I believe he ran it on the Saginaw River possibly for parties and gambling. The story is said that it was traded for property in Detroit in 1921. Otto and his father, John Geiger Sr. also ran a saloon (325 Germania) and grocery store (439 Howard St.) in Saginaw. If anyone has any information on this boat (or Otto Geiger) I would love to hear about it. If anyone has any ideas of where I could look to find the information I would love to hear from you.
