Sharon, The corner of Court and Bond had St. Paul's Lutheran Church, two victorian era houses and a shop that housed a shade and Blind shop owned by a German couple (whose name I can't recall) through the 1930's and 40's. A block away there was a small commercial area a block long that housed a druggist, a hardware, Spaatz's bakery, the Court Theatre, a shoe repair shop and a small shop on the corner that had several businesses. Across the street were several other businesses including a feed store and butcher shop, and another drug store, and perhaps your cheese store. After 1950, all that began tyo change, and I don't know what's left. That was the closest business area to Court and Bond, though.
