Thanks, Carol, for the reminer that Memorial Day is more than a three-day weekend to drink beer and BBQ. We should also remember those veterans who lived to return home, but suffer from memories of the horror of what they endured on the battlefield. These veterans seem forgotten by the government that they faithfully served and the citizens whose freedom they fought to protect.
