    3. Could someone please help determine if one of the Kinney lots described below is the lot at 413 Franklin street? When my gg grandmother died she and her family were residing at 413 North Franklin street. This was in Dec. 1894. I am not sure if this was in Saginaw or on the outskirts, but her obituary appeared in the Saginaw Evening News. Can anyone help identify the area and possibly tell me what kind of an area it is today. My gg grandfather Peter W. KINNEY was a mill wright and I'm curious as to whether this may have been near a mill.......or what. He appears to have about $6000.00 of land value when he appears on the 1870 census and I believe that one of the descriptions below that were sent to me from the History of Saginaw Co. Michigan, Chas. C. Chapman & Co. Chicago, 1881 should be him. He almost always used the intials P.W. Kinney or the name Peter W. Kinney so I need the help of someone familiar with the area to sort this out. _______________________________________________________________ P.59-C Saginaw City P. Kinney one lot on Franklin St., near Fitzhugh St. on south. Just east of Saginaw River, with businesses and a block of lots between. P. 58 P.W. Kinney's lots are west of the Saginaw River in the Nothern part of Saginaw. It says section C, but that may be just for the map. I haven't had to check a Saginaw City map before. **P.W. owns 4 lots bordering Pine St on west (runs N-S.) and Oak St. (on the South, and Zilwaukie Road on the East. The lots are together, and to the East of the land is a steam planing mill, owned by W.H. Edwards & Co. That business is on a waterway connected to the Saginaw River. No neigbors are listed on the other lots by P.W. Thanks for any help you can give me on this. Regards, Bonnie Menzer Barnes Perth, Western Australia
