This list stays quiet for days and when someone asks where someplace is it comes to life again. Maybe in remembering the past it might trigger a memory of an ancestor long forgotten this is how it relates to genealogy. Janet

Hi, my 2 cents worth -- I do not live there and never have - and never will, but my gggreatgrandparents did and my great grandparents left there about 1860 -- BUT I DO ENJOY HEARING (READING) about places, etc and etc - it puts some LIFE into my genealogy. I enjoy reading those little bits - and people are keeping them brief!!
