Gail, I'm not sure if anyone has replied to you about 439 Howard St. I finally was able to go by there yesterday. There is no 439 Howard. The street stops in the 700 block. Maybe years ago it was numbered different. I checked the corner of McCoskry and Howard. There is still a store on the corner. It is now the 1100 block. I was told that it is called the Howard Street Market but about 1-2 months ago it burned and is no longer open. I'm not sure if it will reopen. It is in a very rundown area of Saginaw.
