    1. [MISAGINA] Memories: Researching PERKINS, NY>Hemlock, MI: MI: FOVELLE
    2. Fovelle Hill at Dice and Hemlock was called that because of Billy FOVELLE and Hattie (Harriet) PERKINS Fovelle had the acreage on the Southwest corner. Billy was a lumberman. He came to Saginaw, MI from St. Polyscarp, Quebec, Can. at 14 years old. In 1866. He began farming in 1893 when my grandmother, Grace Angelic FOVELLE Gilson was 6 years old. That was the first time she met her father. He was at the Lumber Camps working. Her mother would go there to visit him but Grandma wasn't allowed because she was a child. Nathaniel PERKINS was Hattie's father. He and Martha DORCHESTER and their children, Bertha, George Washington, Alfred, Jackson, Caroline, Catherine, Emma, Harriet (Hattie) came to Midland, MI in 1865 then to Hemlock, MI in 1866. We are looking for ancestors of Nathaniel PERKINS. His parents and siblings. Does anyone have any info on this family? Kind regards, Jan Johnson
