    3. Hi, I'm new to this list, but was on it a long time ago. I'm seeking information on several families that lived in Saginaw from the 1860's on. Any information would be greatly appreciated: They are: John Bluem (Bleum, Blum) family, arrived in Saginaw in 1862, from Germany/NY. John was employed as a cooper and also worked the last 20 years at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Wife was Mary Smith/Schmidt. They had 9 children, among them my gg mother, Mary. This family was from Germany, came to NY in 1852, came to Saginaw in 1862. Father John Schmidt found in early Saginaw deaths (1869) Dominick & Victorie Lafayette, (Lafeuillade) came to Saginaw in 1878-79 from Detroit area. They had 10 children, among them my gg father John (Jean Baptiste) who married Mary above. John and Mary had 8 children, among whom one (last I heard) is still living in Saginaw, Bernice Lafayette Ward. Vincent Dashner, Jr., wife Rose Lanphier/Lanthier They came to Saginaw in 1878 from Oswego, NY. He worked as a cooper at CH Cobb. They had 15 children. John Lea, wife Mary Louise Schneider John arrived in Saginaw in 1864, m. in 1873. He was from Germany, came with 3 brothers, names unknown. John was a laborer but is also listed as having been a foreman for the Saginaw Ice & Coal Co. John and Mary had 6 children. Mary Louise's f. was Georg F.Schneider from Germany and Mary Meyer from Germany. They came to Saginaw when Mary Louise was 5. I have found Georg on the 1870 census. I have found quite a lot about these families, have most obituaries, etc. but still have a lot of gaps, especially with Lea, the brothers of John etc. Anyone who might have any information on these names or any suggestions on looking further I would greatly appreciate it. I have no immigration or passenger information on any. The Lea family has been especially difficult. Thank you so much. A. J. Clark
