Someone said something about working at Diebels , did you mean, Ippels? I worked there before graduation, 1957, and they still had the little cages that went back to the office. I remember the Wolverine theater and the serials every weeks. My mom sent us kids there, (cheap baby-sitter!) We had a blast. Do you remember the Paloma theater? Wasn't that on S. Michigan near Vermont? It's been great reading about all our memories. I loved the dances at the auditorium, the "Winter Wonderland", etc. And the Strand, and the A & W on Gratiot. Did a lot of "cruising" around there ;o) Sharon (McCray) Hensler AHHS graduate of 1957.
