The Saginaw Historical Society at one time had Dr. Mud's gr grandson researching the old homes of Saginaw and their original drawings. You may want to contact them. Also the library has a card index of homes in Saginaw. Jerolyn@aol.com wrote:I'm trying to date an architectual drawing and identify the firm and architect that did the drawing of my Great Grandparents farm house in Blumfield Twp, Saginaw, Michigan. The drawing is a pen and ink sketch of the farm house and barns. The name on the drawing is: " E. Boersch.del ". It would have been done between 1865 and 1890, and I am assuming that the architect was from Saginaw, although Frankenmuth is also nearby. Has anyone done research on Saginaw Architectual firms in late 1800's? Has anyone done research on this name BOERSCH?
