Wondering if anything in this time frame would provide, names in a household. The 1840 census confirms my genie speculation that John ARMAN had at least one girl in the right age frame for GGGG Grandma. I have marriage and no parents listed in the 1847 occasion ( She married one of John WHITMAN's boys, Robert ), and on her death records it lists parents as unknown. She was born in New York but after two years of hunting not a clue as to possibly were. So I am quite stuck on proving who she belongs to... some have another mother and father unknown but I do feel John and Nancy ( Davis ) ARMAN are her folks, just need to get it proven some how. Any help or suggestions on what I should try is greatly appreciated. KKB
