    2. If your ancestor lived in Saginaw County when he or she applied to become a citizen you are in luck. The LDS Family History Library has microfilmed those naturalization papers. You can go on line to www.familysearch.com and connect to the library catalog. There is an index to naturalizations that occured in the county. You can order the film at a local LDS Family History Center for a nominal fee. After you find your ancestor's name in the index, you can then order the appropriate film. Depending upon when your ancestor became a citizen, you may be able to find a lot of information on the application for naturalization. Mary Sue Schnell
