    3. Nancy Have you looked at Salt Lake film #927435 item 3 --it is supposed to be marriage records for Saginaw from 1835-1867. There isn't a lot of information that early but at least it is a record. 2. Carolyn et al, I must apologize. I just went into Carolyn's site and found the new addition to St. Charles - the older section of Riverside. Lo and behold there was Benjamin Price. Carolyn, I can't thank you enough. I have been looking for this headstone for three years. I've already printed it. Thank you and your helpers for all your work. Sue Schroeder ABQ

    2. This message is for Carolyn or anyone else out there who might have an answer. My husband is from St. Charles. We were told by a distant cousin that his great, great grandfather, Benjamin PRICE, is buried in Riverside Cemetery, but Carolyn doesn't list him. He is with two Lytles, a Holton, and a Sweeney under a big oak tree. She says they are in Section 10, around Lot 21. Does anyone know if he is buried there or not? My next question is - if so, would someone take a picture of the headstone for me? Will gladly pay. TIA Sue Schroeder ABQ

    2. Swan Creek Township Cemeteries I am interested in the photographing of Roselawn Cemetery St. Andrew's Cemetery I am also interested in Garfield Cemetery I have relatives who probably lived in Swan Creek who they died. My realative Leonard Radde is buried in Roselawn. Is St. Andrew's Cemetery is Saginaw County? My relative Wayne Radde and his wife Mary are buried there. My cousin Catherine and her husband Able Simmons are buried at Garfield. The Saginaw City Directories after 1900 are mostly every year . They are at Sutro Library, and probably the Allen County, Indiana library, and the Saginaw library. There are also Saginaw Birth, death, and marriage indexes at the Family History Library, and probably the Saginaw courthouse. Allan Campbell

    3. Mt. Olivet, Section N is now on the site. The files are uploading as we speak. It is hard to tell where one section ends and another begins. So I am guessing. If you want to know for sure you will need to contact Rita at Mt. Olivet offices. She is great. Very helpful. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~evansandobertein/saginaw.htm Carolyn

    3. OK put on those thinking caps. Anyone know of any of those out of the way hidden cemeteries that are in a field or on someones property or hidden in the middle of a field of corn? Even if they only have a couple of stones? I need an adventure! I have cabin fever bad! I can only stay inside so long before I have to get outside! Carolyn

    3. Mary: Thank you very much for putting the Bureau of Land Management website on the list. I found that my Henry Lingham purchased two parcels of land in 1869. I shall keep that website handy. Dear Sue, I bet you already know this, but just in case (and for the benefit of other listers who don't know), the Bureau of Land Management has online records for early land purchasers. I learned bunches this way. Check it out at http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/PatentSearch/Default.asp? . Mary Richardson

Gosh, I'd be remiss if I didn't chime in here. I've told you before how I'd like to have Oakwood Cemetery photographed -- and I promise, I really will send you scans of the graves that I photographed there -- but there are others I'd like to have, too. My other cemetery wish is for Owen, but it sounds like Pat is on his way to getting it for us. I think the directory idea was great -- Ancestry.com only has 1889-1890 for Saginaw. Maybe immigration/naturalization records would interest folks? I have one VERY specific family-related wish that isn't worth anyone's time (but mine)to check out. Hoyt Library has a family tree submitted by Marian McDONAGH DAY. She claims that her husband's ggg-grandfather was Hugh McCULLOCH. My dream come true is to find out how Marian knew this. I have lots of circumstantial evidence that agrees with Marian, but I can't prove she's right. Oh well, I'll get off my soapbox now. No need for you to worry about this one :-) Your efforts to photograph all the Saginaw cemeteries is beyond commendable -- anything else you have up your sleeve is more than icing on the cake! Wish I was close by to help... Mary
