Hi Kevin, I was wondering if I could get a copy of the photo to add to the Saginaw County Photographs website. If that is a possibility you can just email it to me. A photo like that would be very helpful. Thank You Carolyn KevinOBrien8527@aol.com wrote:If you are researching the SWARTHOUT name, please contact me. I have a photo of an "A.F. Mary Sue, I notice one of the surnames you are searching was GARNER. Do you by any chance have a Bert Garner in your files. I am helping a friend tracking hime down. All we have is an old yellowed obituary. Unfortunately there were no dates mentioned in the obituary nor was the name or date of the paper noted. We believe he died around 1900 near New Lothrop. Last week someone listed the new online site for Michigan Cemeteries at the Library of Michigan as: michigancemeteries.libraryofmichigan.org. When I tried to access the site I assumed that it was www.michigancemeteries.libraryofmichigan.org. However, by trial and error I discovered that you have to go to: http://michigancemeteries.libraryofmichigan.org (without the "www"). It is a great addition to the Library's website. I just printing out a list of all cemeteries in Saginaw and Bay Counties just by entering the county name only on the search engine. Thank you to whoever let us know about the site. Mary Sue Schnell searching: GARNER, RUGENSTEIN, KAGEL, SKUCZAS and related families in Saginaw and Bay Counties.
