    1. [MISAGINA] New updates on 1925 Legenda & 1895 Aurora Year Books
    2. Patricia Hamp
    3. 1895 Aurora of East Saginaw High School - Page images are online with seniors indexed and linked so far. This yearbook did not have student portraits but only lists of names for each class. These are the only pages I extracted from the book. Typist needed to make lists so this can be made searchable. Kim is typing this out for the index. 1913 Aurora of Saginaw High School - Being Indexed - The book is here and the senior class is done, scanned and indexed. Next the lists of students from the junior, sophomore and freshman classes will be entered. There are no photos of these classes. Lynn is typing the underclassmen up. 1935 Legenda of Arthur Hill High School - Fully indexed and linked with 1979 entries. Patrick did an every name index to this book and the images of each page are linked to the names. Coming yet - 1922 Legenda and various years in the 1920-30s of the Central Jr. High yearbooks along with a Bliss Alger College (Now part of Davenport College) for 1928. Also, Kim has offered to index the alumni from Arthur Hill through the early years. http://www.mifamilyhistory.org/saginaw/yearbooks.asp More Chapin School Censuses are going online soon, also. Plus I found some for two other townships and only a 20 minute drive. Thanks to all for all the hard work. I sent Saginaw Library an e-mail 2 days ago, asking if they had this newspaper-I am willing to bid on this item and donate it to the library if they need it --however I have not heard back from the library. I don't remember the name and the copy of the letter is somewhere in that rat's nest that I call files. Was that you? I remember Frank Kempt but I can't identify him in the picture and I'm not positive about Tony Long. Looking more at the photo, I believe the man behind Chief Genske (the man with the stars on his lapel) and over his right shoulder is Bill Yule, who was later Chief. Bossman is to our right of Genske and over his right shoulder is Sgt. Warren Brown. Warren was a Detective for many years and had the hobby of pistol marksmanship. He was an expert and won many trophies. Paul Kruske is the second from the right end and the man over his head is Walter Germain. Walter claimed the old title of Inspector. No one else had it but he went by that name. He was in charge of the Juvenile Division. He was a follower of Freud's psychology and had somewhat of a wide reputation. He wrote a lot of articles on Juvenile Crime. The picture was taken in front of the old City Hall. It burned in 1934. The Police Dept. was in the basement.

    3. A collection of the Frankenmuth and surrounding area family histories are now part of Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Lodge. Each of these stories is framed and hanging in one of the 354 guest rooms. The rooms are named after area families and identified by hand-carved family name plaques on each guestroom door. In addition, each guestroom is decorated with family pictures and memorabilia. Additional family pictures and items are added to guestrooms when they become available. A book was created of the histories of these 354 families, published by the Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Lodge. They have given me permission to scan the entire book for the website. Each page is a very detailed history of an area family. I have included a table of all the names along with the room numbers of each family. You can then hyperlink to the scanned image of that family history from their book. I have about 30 family histories scanned of the 354. Keep watching for the others. If you are ever in Frankenmuth you can do as I did...request your family room to stay in.
