Tried to get the cemetery records a half dozen years ago, so I could transcribe the Cemetery, but the local funeral home, which controls the Cemetery Board, and thus the records, refused me access. I did transcribe the Southwest, and about a third of the Southcentral portions of the cemetery, but got involved with other things and got no further. Will try and find the records if you have a name. However, please note that I no longer live in or around Coopersville. /s/ Doc Ramosclann@aol.com wrote: >This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > >Classification: Query > >Message Board URL: > >http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/CIB.2ACI/1277 > >Message Board Post: > >Does anyone know where I could find the records for the Coppersville Cemetery? Is this cemetery still an active cemetery with an office that might hold available records? The wonderful site onlines of burials in the Coppersville Cemetery, shows that my g.grandfather was buried there in 1881, but my g. grandmother who died in 1895 and thought to be buried there isn't shown. Perhaps there was no headstone. >Elberta > > >============================== >Gain access to over two billion names including the new Immigration >Collection with an Ancestry.com free trial.
