Hi Gordon, I live near the Herrick Public Library in Holland, Michigan, Ottawa County. This is what I found on the Howels in Georgetown Twp. George Howel: Section 3, 1930 SW1/4 SE 1/4 (this is his property location) Then I found these grave listings Howell, Mrs.Walter no other info on her Howell, Walter born 1858 Died 1938 Howell, Byron born 1855 died 1927 Howel, George born November 25, 1865 in Michigan died July 23, 1959 Zeeland Widowed also states 'single in 1910' Howel, Grace E. born March 18, 1857 died August 7, 1052 in Georgetown Spouse George? Father: Clinton Shoemaker Mother: Sarah Jenison There were also a great many Howell obituary cards in the Holland Sentinel obituary files There were also a great many Howells living in Kent County, Michigan as well.
