Dear List, I know from the LDS-filmed probate index for Ottawa County, that SILAS LILLIE, who died in Wright TWP on 31 Aug 1861, and is buried in Lot 99 of the Advent Cemetery, was the subject of Ottawa Co. Probate file No. 270, on film No. 56. I need to see this file, but it has not been filmed by the LDS. Can anyone tell me how to proceed, from California? Hi Rick, I live about 4 miles from the Ottawa Co. Courthouse. I have done vital records research, but not probate records. Are they available to the public?
