But the John Vanherwynen-mistery extends: Killed in action; VanHerwynen, John, Pvt. D, 339th Inf. "Polar Bears", date of death 20 Sept 1918, residence Vriesland, MI. This means a third John Vanherwynen born around 1890-1900 and residence in Michigan! Who are his parents? Thanks
