Hendrik Jan Geurink was born August 24, 1825 as a son of Lammert Geurink - born March 16, 1794 and deceased March 24, 1866 - and Mijken Voerman - born October 24, 1785 and deceased September 2, 1835. They were married on July 30, 1814. Lammert was a weaver in IJzerlo, municipality Aalten, province Gelderland, Netherlands. His parents were Barent Geurink, born December 6, 1750, and Maria Nijman. They married on June 6, 1789. Barent's parents were Hendrik Geurink, born about 1720, and Hendrina Lammers. Besides your Hendrik Jan Geurink immigrated also two bothers and one sister to Michigan, USA: sister Everdina Gradamina Geurink - born August 13, 1816, deceased November 5, 1877 - and her spouce Izak Jacob Fles, eggs seller - born October 15, 1799 - brother Arent Jan Geurink, who married Harmina Oonk, female surviver of the Phoenix disaster in 1847 (to find on the USA homepage of Wayne Geurink) and brother Reinier Geurink, watchmaker, who died in Michigan(?) by tuberculosis, without leaving descendants. I hope to hear more about your Hendrik Jan Geurink tree.
