    3. Posted on: Ottawa Co., Michigan Query Forum Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Mi/Ottawa?read=662 Surname: Honner, Honor, Collins, Maher, Richardson, Waterman ------------------------- Looking for my ancestors in Grand Haven area, Ottawa County, MI: * HONNER or HONOR: My family spells it both ways. Ggg uncle Thomas Honner was a mariner, at one time master of the DCH&M steamer Wisconsin. I have heard he went down in a shipwreck but cannot find anything about it. (Thomas is on the 1892-3 Census for Head of Household). My gg grandfather Edward W. Honner (Capt. Tom's nephew) was also a captain & ship's master. * COLLINS, MAHER: Edward married (Mary?) Agnes Maher of Grand Haven. Her mother was Ellen Collins Maher (and add Richardson later, I believe). Agnes Maher's brothers & sisters were William, Mrs. Jesse Waterman (first name unknown), Henry, Margaret, and Thomas. If anyone sees familiar names here, I'd appreciate any info you have! Please email me at [email protected] Thanks! Maryjane Honner
