I believe Alaska, Michigan, is in Ottawa Co., MI. I have been unable to verify it in any atlas. Anyway, if this is true, I am researching GRACE MAUD HAWKINS, b. November 29, 1879, Alaska, Mich., d. September 13, 1957, Hillsdale, Hillsdale, MI. She was the daughter of John Hawkins and his wife, Emma Wood, according to her death certificate.
