She was a member of Bentheim Reformed Church. Her husband Jake, died 18 years ago. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Chrales (Hester) Volkers, Mrs. Harris (Mildred) Nyeboer, Mrs. Ted (Myrtle) Dubbink, all of Hamilton, and Mrs. James (Lois) Dykhuis of Overisel; two sons, Gene Schra of Bentheim and Robert of Hamilton; 23 grandchildren; nin great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. William (Jeanette) Vander Meer of Otsego, Mrs. Harvey (Gladys) Slotman of Overisel, Mrs. Lloyd (Frances) Brink of Hamilton, and Mrs. Beatrice Vander Kooi of Noordeloos; two brothers, Harvey Boerman of Fillmore and Melvin of Zeeland, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Gertrude Boerman of Hamilton. Burial will be in Bentheim cemetery.
