I have no definative info. for you. However, both the Rice's and Vincent's are listed in the current Grand Haven phone directory. Also, several cemetaries in northern Ottawa county have Rice's buried with dates in the 1830's. In addition, many of the original settlers of northern Ottawa county came from Ontario and New York state. Hope this helps. Ginger
