Married Dena Bos. Ryke had several siblings but himself died of Tuberculosis in approx. 1914. Ryke and Dena had 3 children 1) Minnie (Mae), DOB 1905, 2) Don and 3) Inez. Ryke was a cement contractor. I just started researching my Kooiman ancestry recently. I do not know for a fact Ryke's father although in census records I discovered that William Kooiman of Coopersville had a son named Richard (possibly Ryke?) born about 1877.
