Am researching the children of Perry PUNCHES (1841-1920) and Mary Mumbers (Mumphier, Monfear) Punches (1841-1917) who came from Ohio and settled in Kent and Ottawa Counties, MI. Daughter Rose married William FALK, and and daughter Ola (Viola) married Frank DORGAN. Two of their daughters married CAHILLs from Ohio (Ella Margaret married Peter CAHILL & Janet Cora married Edward CAHILL), then when Peter Cahill died, Ella married George STRAYER. Janet Cora died young and left a bunch of Cahill children, some of whom went to other families to raise. In the SCHRECKENGAST line, I am researching the descendents of George and Sareptia (JONES) SCHRECKENGAST who lived in Jamestown and Georgetown Townships, Ottawa Co. Any surname SCHRECKENGAST, SCHRECKENGUST, or any spelling even remotely similar (even SecondGhost), is likely to be related to this family.
