Which is probably the same as Yske. The anglicized meaning of the name Ysche appears to be Annie. Have you tried searching for your ancestor under the name Annie? I have found that many many of my own ancestors the name was changed to an "American" version of the original name. In other words names like Yzaak became Isaac, Kaatje became Katherine or Katie etc. etc. Hope this helps. Regards, Peggy
