I have Henry b 1844 as the son of Andrew Tibbets and Mary Pierce. Andrew later married Genevra Grigg. I pulled loads of stuff off the Ottawa and Kent web pages. I have the censuses from OH. Andrew's death record states he was a son of John Tibbets and Polly Ellis. His brother Henry married a Sarah Ellis in Portage county Ohio in 1837. It appears they moved to Michigan about 1857/58. Let me know if any of this helps or if you have other questions. I am reasonably sure my 3xgrandmother is their sister and a daughter of Jonathan or John Tibbets, but I have found nothing to prove it yet--just circumstantial evidence.
