Barb, Herrick has a wonderful genealogy room. Staffing in the room itself for assistance is limited, you might want to call ahead to confirm. Library does close at 5:30pm on Fri & Sat. and Sun it's only 2-5pm, all other days until 9pm. If you want walking distance to the library, there is a wonderful B&B (in a large historic home) about 2 blocks away. It's called; "Centennial Inn B&B" at 8 East 8th Street, 355-0998, rates are $100 - $125 depending on the room.
