They have (at least) two genealogies on the Grinwis family which include a lot of excellent info on the Tanis, including taking the Broekman line back to the 1700s. Additionally, suggest checking out LuAnn DeVries' website which includes links to baptismal records of the Dutch Reformed Church in Vriesland where a couple of Jan and Arentje's children were born. Presume the same records are available in hard copy at the library since Mr. Haan, who heads up the genealogy section at Herrick, transcribed them. Can you pls advise where you obtained the birth info for the children you list since you have children listed that I do not have. My list of children came from the baptismal records mentioned above.
