The last year of her life (she passed away September 2000) she sat for many hours recording the family genealogy from memory & pictures. Her daughter Ruth Vanden Bosch put in on Family Tree Maker, and thats how I got it. I have spent many hours on LuAnn DeVries site, and her baptism records confirmed the same info. for those listed. I also use the actual gravestone info. too when I can locate it. I missed one child, Derrick Tanis, born in 1855. This is also not in the baptism records, so maybe the child did not live very long, ?? no clue so far. Same could be true for Maatje Tanis, born 1857. Another puzzle for our hunt :) Am trying to get to Herrick library, planned on going today, then something came up, thanks for the suggestion. If I find other info. I'll post here for you.
