He and his wife, Mary Pennoyer came to Ottawa Co. before 1866. Their children were: Eugene b. 1855 in New York Alice b. 1859 in New York Anna or Hannah b. 1861 in New York Rebecca b. 1863 in New York Margaret b. 1866 in Michigan Gershom b. 1868 in Michigan m. Sarah Hamilton Orange b. 1874 in Michigan George b. 1877 in Michigan m. Clara Cooper Joseph owned farmland in Crockery and Polkton Townships.
