I regret I can not be of much help in the matter of photographs relating to the 6th Michigan Cavalry. I certainly understand your interest, my GrGrandfather served in Company I, 5th Michigan Cavalry, also part of the Michigan Cavalry Brigade. The only photograph which I have encountered relating to the Michigan Cavalry Brigade is on file in the Library of Congress [LC-B8171-1251&LC-B815-1251 P&P 4a39659r.jpg]. It depicts a military review for Abraham Lincoln, in 1865, of the Michigan Cavalry Brigade. Unfortunately, I did not record the precise Library of Congress URL for it. I think that a search in the LC American Memory Collections, Civil War Collection may turn up photographs of the 6th Michigan Cavalry Guidon and the Regimental Banner.
