I certainly understand your interest, my GrGrandfather served in Company I, 5th Michigan Cavalry, also part of the Michigan Cavalry Brigade. The only photograph which I have encountered relating to the Michigan Cavalry Brigade is on file in the Library of Congress [LC-B8171-1251&LC-B815-1251 P&P 4a39659r.jpg]. It depicts a military review for Abraham Lincoln, in 1865, of the Michigan Cavalry Brigade. Unfortunately, I did not record the precise Library of Congress URL for it. I think that a search in the LC American Memory Collections, Civil War Collection may turn up photographs of the 6th Michigan Cavalry Guidon and the Regimental Banner. Should you be successful in locating further photographs or relevant graphics relating to the Michigan Cavalry Brigade, or better, the 5th Michigan Cavalry Brigade, I would really appreciate hearing from you.
