Mrs. Redder was born January 21, 1910, in Hopkins, the daughter of Henry & Elfrida (Puschel) Schafer. Surviving are her daughter, Elma Sterk of Hudsonville; 2 grandchildren, Kabet Sterk of Hudsonville and Kimmi Sterk of Holland; 1 great granddaughter, Tallon; 1 brother, Milton Schafer of Allegan; 2 sisters, Emma Essenburgh of Allegan and Ermah & LaVerne Timmerman of Allegan; several nieces & nephews. Hilda was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; brother, Herman; 2 sisters in law, Joyce Schafer & Ila Schafer; and 1 brother in law Harold Essenburgh.
