Is this cemetery still an active cemetery with an office that might hold available records? The wonderful site onlines of burials in the Coppersville Cemetery, shows that my g.grandfather was buried there in 1881, but my g. grandmother who died in 1895 and thought to be buried there isn't shown. Perhaps there was no headstone. Elberta

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/CIB.2ACI/1273 Message Board Post: When recently searching the International Genealogical Index at FamilySearch.org, I found that someone had submitted the family of Hiram Field (b. 1834), wife Annie (b. 1848), and their first four children: Charles (b. 1867), George (b. 1869), Roberta* (b. 1871) and Mary (b. 1873). The source for this family's information appears to be the 1880 U.S. census for Jenison, Georgetown Twp., Ottawa Co., Michigan; hence some dates are off by one year. The submission does not contain the name of the submitter, so I am grabbing at straws. The baptisms for these folks were done on 10 Apr 2004 in the Oakland LDS Temple. These are duplications because their work was done previously in 1968. I would like to share information with the submitter, as Hiram Field and Annie are my great grandparents and their first child, Charles, was my grandfather. I have full birth dates for all of these folks who were born in Walpole Twp., Haldimand Co., Ontario, Canada; plus four more children and their ancestry. * Roberta should be Rebecca after whom my youngest daughter was named. She was the wife of Cornelius (a.k.a. "Case") de Pute/Puit, son of Michael and Paulina. If you know of any researcher who might have submitted this family, I would appreciate your letting me know.
