Mildreds parents were, Arline Dorthy anna Schaumberg born 1907 Wisconsin and Alfonse Keup Wisconsin they were divorced early on and remarried. Arline Schaumbergs parents were I believe martha Behm born 1883 married to John Valintine Schaumberg 1875 wisconsin. Martha Behms parents were William Behm and a Amelia Bartelt.     2. Dennis, Thanks for the response. I had this really messed up. If Silvia was b. in 1834, then she couldn't have married the Edward Davenport that I thought she did. The Edward I'm interested in was b. in 1866, son of Rufus who was b. in 1829. Maybe Rufus had a brother named Edward. And, your William Patterson must be much older than the William Patterson I'm interested in, the son of Rufus. What had arroused my attention was that both William Pattersons had a close association to a Firster, which is my interest. Thanks for the help in straightening this out. From the poor farm records, we were able to determine the date of death and then obtain a death record from the county. However, we can't find where he is buried. Would anyone know where residents of the county poor farm may have been buried around 1880?

They emigrated in 1883 with five children ; Grietje (9-7-1873, 13-4-1959 later Maggie Gretje), Jan (28-9-1871, 2-11-1945 later John), Pieter (24-4-1875, 26-12-1942 later Peter Henry), Janna (2-10-1877, 25-5-1956 later Janie) and Lenze (19-2-1880, 4-10-1919 later Leonard).Some of these persons have lived in Ottawa County.     3. I am a decendent of the William Patterson who married Sylvia Beebe and he is not the son of Alexander A. Patterson. The William Patterson you refer to is the son of Alexander E. Patterson. My GGG Grandmother Sylvia Bebee was born in 1834 and married her first husband Edward Davenport in 1858.     2. You might try reading " The early History of Jamestown Township" book . It was written by Mrs. Pauline Hall Gitchel in 1925. It covered the years from 1843-1870 and may have other Vanherwynen family members in it.

Hendrik Jan Geurink was born August 24, 1825 as a son of Lammert Geurink - born March 16, 1794 and deceased March 24, 1866 - and Mijken Voerman - born October 24, 1785 and deceased September 2, 1835. They were married on July 30, 1814. Lammert was a weaver in IJzerlo, municipality Aalten, province Gelderland, Netherlands. His parents were Barent Geurink, born December 6, 1750, and Maria Nijman. They married on June 6, 1789. Barent's parents were Hendrik Geurink, born about 1720, and Hendrina Lammers. Besides your Hendrik Jan Geurink immigrated also two bothers and one sister to Michigan, USA: sister Everdina Gradamina Geurink - born August 13, 1816, deceased November 5, 1877 - and her spouce Izak Jacob Fles, eggs seller - born October 15, 1799 - brother Arent Jan Geurink, who married Harmina Oonk, female surviver of the Phoenix disaster in 1847 (to find on the USA homepage of Wayne Geurink) and brother Reinier Geurink, watchmaker, who died in Michigan(?) by tuberculosis, without leaving descendants.
