Posted on: Ottawa Co., Michigan Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Mi/Ottawa/757 Surname: Haystead ------------------------- I believe that several years ago I was in contact with you about your Haystaed relatives in Ottawa County and concerning my great-great-great grandfather, John Haystead. He lived at one time in Vaughun, Ontario, Canada and then moved to Dundee, Michigan. I have info on his son Fred. If you would like to start exchanging information again, please respond. I just returned today from the weekend in northern Toronto (Woodbridge) searching for the gravesites of John's wife, Charlotte and other members of their family. I was unable to find the right cemetery (poor planning on my part). I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi List, My Grandfather, (Abel) Edward Vander West, was a Deputy Sheriff for Ottawa County in the 1920s. The County Sheriff, at that time, was Del Fortney. Does anyone have any idea how I can find out the dates that my Grandfather served and any other interesting information regarding that time?
