.Hi list, I currently have the "Oakland County Probate Abstracts," compiled by the DAR, LDS #0927422 on loan at the Family History Center. The index goes from 1832-1868. I would be glad to do lookups for folks, as long as you keep it simple. For example, it would be easy to check for all Nathan LAWRENCEs in the 1840s. It would not be possible to look for all SMITHS from 1832-1868. Just don't get too greedy. I'll have the film for a month or so. These are abstracts of the actual probate files, but many times relationships are given, as are death dates, and sometimes ages of minor children.
