I've posted in the past, several times, that I have available the birth, marriage, death index and films from the FHL and would be willing to do lookups for people. However, at this point in time I will be declining to do any further lookups until after my 95-year-old mother heals from her broken ankle and is once again able to get around on her own in the house will I'm out doing genealogy. She fell last Monday, twice, so we don't know exactly which fall it was that she took that broke her ankle bone. The doctor just changed the temporary cast to a permanent one and says 6-8 weeks in the cast -- it's a bright pink one! -- before she will be all mended. In the meantime I am housebound taking care of her and can't go to the library to do any research. I will post another notice on the list when I am able to resume lookups for people. I am thinking that this will be about the middle of September. So till then, have a great genealogy day and I hope everyone finds all their ancestors! Christie Trapp
