    3. I live in the UK and do not have ready access to Michigan records. I'm trying to trace James German, who died in Pontiac December 26, 1900. I believe he immigrated in 1868 from either Wales (probable) or England (where I believe he was born). His death certificate gives minimal information and does not state where he is buried. In the 1900 census he is living as a boarder on Perry Street, 3rd Ward. Since he died in December that year, I'm wondering if he was buried in Pontiac. He had a daughter who lived in Pontiac, but I don't have any indication he lived with her. Prior to that he lived with another daughter in West Bloomfield, but I have not been able to locate any burial information there. The surname is common in Farmington, but James does not seem to have left any records there, although the 1870 census has him living in Farmington. I would be grateful for any pointers.
